Hello everyone! It’s high time I review the SPF body lotion that I’ve loved ever since I tried it last year. It has become a fixture of my beauty arsenal and I feel compelled to share it with you guys. I’m sure you’ve heard or read reviews about this product; even seen this in your trip to do the groceries or even own one! The Vaseline Healthy White SPF 24 Triple Lightening Lotion is perfect for those who wants to protect their skin from the sun and yet cannot stand that sun block-y feel that ordinary sun blocks give off.

I originally bought the 200ml bottle for Php190, which I used up till the last drop. I bought the bigger bottle right after for less than Php300. I love it mainly because it has UVA and UVB protection. Though I don’t go out under the intolerable heat of the sun that often anymore after settling to a semi home-based day job, I still use this lotion twice a day, every day.

The consistency is thicker than an ordinary lotion but it gets absorbed by quite fast. The heavy feel only last about 5 minutes or so. After which your skin will be smooth and moisturized. The scent might be a problem to some but I don’t mind. I even find the scent subtle and nice compared to sun blocks with high SPF. Unlike the Aloe Fresh line from Vaseline which caused HEAVY itchiness on my leg area, my skin had no negative reactions with their Healthy White range lotion.

As to the lightening effect of this product, I can’t really attest to it. I don’t notice any light changes on my skin tone. Though some uneven skin tone in my arms is quite lightened, which could also be because I don’t go out that much anymore.

Daily exposure to harsh UV rays from the sun can leave your skin darker, uneven and blemished. Regular lotions without SPF and UVA protection are unable to give you the perfect light and even skin tone you desire.

What I like about the Vaseline Healthy White SPF 24 Triple Lightening Lotion:

What I do NOT like about the Vaseline Healthy White SPF 24 Triple Lightening Lotion:

1. If exposed under the sun, must re-apply ever 4 hours. (Like all sun blocks)
2. I noticed that when I wash my hands AFTER putting lotion on, it felt soapy and I had to re-apply.
3. The scent fades easily.

Overall:

Will I buy it again? Yes. This product works well with our humid weather. The no-sticky feel sold the product to me in an instant! Try the travel-sized pack to test this lotion and if you like it, buy the biggest bottle with the pump. The bottle with pump makes it easier to apply and the travel-sized is perfect for re-application when you’re going out. Win-win!
