Tony Moly Masquerade White Eye Mask Review

Tony Moly Masquerade White Eye Mask Review

I’m fond of using eye masks because they feel soothing on the skin and seem to make my undereyes appear a little refreshed and brighter. I’ve tried those by Etude House and Nature Republic, and now I got to try one by Tony Moly. It’s shaped differently than what you’d expect from most eye mask strips.

Magical face change with black & white classy masquerade masks.

Tear open and apply to face. Leave on for 20-30 minutes and then remove.

Aside from that, the ingredients list, and a note of caution at the bottom, everything else is in Korean. It says ‘black and white’ in the product description because there is also a  Masquerade Black Eye Mask.

Tony+Moly+Masquerade+White+Eye+Mask+Review1 Tony Moly Masquerade White Eye Mask ReviewThe packet was pretty wet once opened, and the mask, I saw, was indeed shaped like something typically used for masquerades. Because it’s shaped this way, it covers more than just the undereye area. It goes over the lids, upper cheeks, temples, and part of the eyebrows. The shape I think is cute but not really necessary.

The Masquerade White Eye Mask has a very mild, barely detectable fruity scent, which I only smelled when I already had the mask on for around 10 minutes. There was no stinging, cooling, or any other sensation upon putting on the mask aside from the wetness of the mask itself.

As per the instructions I left it on for 30 minutes. It felt comfortable and I was able to forget I had it on while typing away on my laptop. When I removed it, my skin felt refreshed. There was a lot of moisture from the mask left on my face, so I wiped some of it off, then the rest I patted away at, like I’d just applied  eye cream.

I found that there was no difference at all in the appearance of the skin under or around my eyes…but I wasn’t really expecting that it would make a big difference on my dark circles. It did make the skin around my eyes feel refreshed, and quite supple, soft, and smooth once most of the residue from the mask had dried off. I used the Masquerade mask before going to bed, and when I woke up the following day, my undereyes still felt pretty supple and soft.

Tony Moly Masquerade White Eye Mask – Likes:

  • It’s gentle. No stinging and no irritation caused.
  • It feels  refreshing on the skin.
  • The scent is mild, barely detectable.
  • It made the skin around my eyes feel supple and moisturized.
  • The effect lasted overnight.
  • This is affordable. It cost PhP 78.
  • It’s locally available.

Tony Moly Masquerade White Eye Mask – Dislikes:

  • It didn’t have any effect on my dark circles.

Overall:

It’s nice that the effects of this eye mask lasted until the following morning. This would be good to try at bedtime if your undereyes are feeling dry and you’d like to rejuvenate them and want them to become more moisturized and smooth the following morning. I might buy it again and even try the ‘black’ variant.
