San+San+Eyeliner+Pen+Review San San Eyeliner Pen ReviewWhat the company says…

Use to create a darkened frame around each eye and accentuates the eye’s beauty, creates an alluring and enchanting professional look.

Ingredients:

Hyaluronic acid, Ammonium methacrylate copolymer, Kaolin, Aqua, 2-Phenoxyethanol, Retinyl Acetate  (Vitamin A), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Iron oxide black CI: 77499

I checked the list of ingredients of their product on the HBC site and it is different. I don’t know if the stocks sold today in the market still have the same ingredients, though I’ll check it again. :) I got mine last year…

This eyeliner pen was my one and only felt tip pen. I love it since it is very easy to use.

I use this one whenever I’m on the run because if I’ll use the typical liquid eyeliner it would consume a lot of time. Color wise it is a little weak, it is not that pigmented. I have to apply it several times to achieve a decent strong color but I love that it dries quickly after lining my eyes. I never experienced any irritation or even stinging sensation while applying it.

It stays intact for a long time. This week I used it almost every day and it stayed in place from 7am to 5pm. It was drizzling the other day when I used it and I didn’t bring my umbrella so when I got home and checked my reflection, the eyeliner had smeared a little but most of it was still in place (no raccoon eyes). That concluded that it is water resistant but not waterproof as what the company claims.

It is very easy to remove using my trusty ETUDE LIP & EYE REMOVER.

This one contains Vitamin A, C & E. I don’t know if those “vitamins” are still potent if application is through makeup. :P

TIP!

Always make sure that the cap is snapped firmly into place to prevent the makeup inside from drying out.

Will I repurchase?

Yes! This is perfect for practicing. :)  My to-go eyeliner pen. As of the moment though I want to try Fanny Serrano’s and Maybelline’s eyeliner pen.

Final Thoughts

Without doubt this eyeliner would be perfect if only if it were more pigmented, but if you have the extra patience in applying it several times and you are looking for a felt tip eyeliner pen for practicing then this one is for you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

It costs around P80 and would be perfect for beginners. I on the other hand am still no expert in applying eyeliners but put my hopes on this affordable one.
