NYX Sky Pink Round Lipstick Review
I got this from my good friend from the UK along with the Kiss Round Lip Gloss. NYX lippies are a big hit in Philippines but I still wonder why they don’t have any official distributor here that would offer the same price range as in the US. Wouldn’t that be great if we could avail their lippies at $4? But then online sellers has been very nice that they sell their NYX stuff at a very affordable price.
This is my one and only round lipstick (can you believe that?!!) haha. I never dare to buy one online since I’m afraid it won’t look good on me. Fortunately there’s this new booth in Trinoma selling NYX stuff and other makeup. Maybe one of these days I’ll check the shades I’ve been lemming! Now enough of the chikka! :)

Color-wise it is a pale pink lipstick with soft shimmers. I think if I’ll categorize this it would be under frost lipsticks. I hate frost lipsticks and they don’t look good on me…hahaha! The color is unflattering and dull. I think this shade will suit girls who are NC20 and below or girls that are pale. I think it resembles MAC Love Long Distance Pro Longwear Lipcreme from the Beth Ditto collection.
I tried it again today; it still glides well and is very creamy.

- Tends to transfer on surfaces
TIPS
If you hate wearing frost lippies, try wearing them with a lip gloss. I once tried wearing this with my pink gloss and it looked wearable.
WILL I REPURCHASE?
I would like to try the other shades; I’m intrigued with the Haute Melon shade.
FINAL THOUGHTS
If you are looking for a pale lippie with shimmer that is affordable then this one is for you. I read that frost lippies can make your lips appear small and thin, so I recommend this to girls with full lips who want to make their lips appear smaller and thin.

I hate frosted lipsticks too. They add years to one’s face. :p
This does look rather dull on the lips. I can imaginehow pale it would make me look! Nice pinks in the NYX Round Lipsticks line- Tea Rose, Fig. :)
