Make Room – Room and Linen Spray in Cinnamon Scent

I’m really big on scents. I’m not really sure why but I want our home to look fresh and smell fresh. Maybe it has something to do with my high stressful job before. You see, scents soothe the senses. After a long, tiring and stressful work at the office, I want to relax right in the comfort of our home. That’s why I am fond of collecting aromatherapy oils, scented candles and different air freshener sprays and gels. By the way, my love affair with scents doesn’t end up only with our house smelling fresh. I want EVERYTHING to smell good. That includes our linen, pillows, curtains, bed, etc

While strolling in the mall one day together with hubby, I chanced upon this one product that would help me achieve just that, to freshen our home and everything in it. I saw this product at Make Room.

I don’t frequently visit this store as it looks expensive. Well, their products are expensive but you can see that they have quality. Admittedly, I do a bit of window shopping here, look up on an item, drool and go home. Haha! I do sometimes look for an alternative item from other stores which are cheaper.

Anyway, since I was a biggie on scents, I immediately took their Cinnamon Room and Linen Spray, a 2-in-one product. Sounds really nice no?  I also took another bottle of a verbena scent and according to the sales associate that it was one of their bestsellers. Well, we finished it up already so I don’t have the bottle here with us. Anyway, why cinnamon? Two words… The Husband. He loves cinnamon on food and coffee. He sometimes eat it raw. Weird. I know. He loves the smell as well.

Key Ingredient: Cinnamon

Studies have shown that smelling cinnamon may boost cognitive function, memory, performance of certain tasks and increases one’s alertness and concentration.

How to Use: Spray as often as desired on room or linens.

I paid P550 for a 250ml bottle of Cinnamon Room and Linen Spray. I find it quite expensive, at least for my budget. But what the heck! I wanted to give it a try.

Upon arriving at home, I immediately used it up as room spray. I sprayed some too inside our linen cabinets which stores our bath towels, bed sheets and curtains. I did spray a bit too on the curtains we are currently using plus, some on our sofa.

Room and Linen Sprayer

The room and linen spray comes in a plastic, transparent bottle with a sprayer on top. The sprayer has an easy lock feature (encircled in red above) to avoid the cinnamon spray from being accidentally pump up or used. I think this is additional safety feature for families with small kids. Also, the sprayer helps to equally diffuse the scent in the room or on linens.

What I like about the Make Room – Room and Linen Spray in Cinnamon Scent:

• Ease of use. With the sprayer and lock available in the bottle, using the Cinnamon spray is a breeze.
• The scent is long lasting especially when used at linens. I did mention that I sprayed it inside our cabinet of bath towels, bed sheets and pillow cases. Well, when it was time to use them, I still can smell the hint of cinnamon from them.
• As a room spray, the scent is not overpowering. Everyone commented that the room smells nice after spraying it.

What I don’t like about the Make Room – Room and Linen Spray in Cinnamon Scent:

• Price. A little bit expensive for a 250ml bottle.

Would I buy it again?

Yes if budget is not an issue. Though, I might try to DIY if I got time.
