L’Occitane Peach Blossom Peachy Skin Moisture Gel
I mentioned before that I have a few L’Occitane products brought by hubby from overseas. I have perfume, moisturizers and soaps from this brand which I love, love, love because of the scent and aroma. It feels like I’m walking in a field of flower blossoms!
For today, I am going to review the L’Occitane Peach Blossom Peachy Skin Moisture Gel. This product comes in 8.4 fl.oz (250ml). It comes in a plastic bottle with an easy to open cap.
L’Occitane Peach Blossom Peachy Skin Moisture Gel
Key Ingredients: Contains peach blossom extract from Provence.
Made in France.
Product Claim: A true delight for the senses, this perfumed moisturizing gel leaves a velvety powder finish on the body. Enriched with peach pit oil it nourishes tthe skin leaving behind a delicate perfume of flowery, fresh and delicious Peach Blossom scents. Day after day, skin becomes as soft as peach skin.
How to Use: Apply all over your body. Best to use after a shower for maximum skin absorption.
I love the L’Occitane Peach Blossom Peachy Skin Moisture Gel. It has a sweet flowery scent that is light and not overpowering. It’s very pretty to look at also.
Being a moisture gel, there is no greasiness at all. Skin absorbs it easily upon application leaving your skin with a beautiful scent. I love how it moisturizes my skin with my day to day use of the product.
The packaging however fails my expectations. I got a crack on the bottle. Now, I’m getting the moisture gel from the crack and not from the cap. I have to be careful though as not to spill the product as it is quite expensive! The bottle now is in a lying position when I store it. If I leave it upright overnight, expect that some gel will be oozing out from the crack.
Pros of the L’Occitane Peach Blossom Peachy Skin Moisture Gel:
- I love the consistency of this product. Very smooth and easy to apply. It also gets absorbed by the skin so easily.
- It has a sweet lasting smell that is light and not overpowering. Best of all, my husband loves the smell.
- It makes my skin glow because of the moisturizing effect.
- When used over time, it will leave your skin smooth especially on the knees and elbows. Did I mention I am already on my 2nd bottle of this product?
Cons of the L’Occitane Peach Blossom Peachy Skin Moisture Gel:
- Priced locally at ~P2,150 per bottle. It isn’t definitely cheap. You’ll be able to get this product cheaper if bought overseas.
- The 8.4 fl.oz packaging doesn’t suit me well. It always cracks on me. I don’t squeeze that hard but still the bottle always gets a crack. This is my 2nd bottle and I am so disappointed with it. The first bottle, I end up transferring to another container. As for this 2nd bottle, I honestly don’t know what to do. Lotion usually leaks up from the crack the following day which is a waste!
Would I buy it again?
Yes, if not considering the budget. Buying from here will surely bring a dent on your wallet but if you have the money, by all means, splurge! However, if you have the means to buy overseas, please do so and hoard. Just make sure you will be able to finish everything up before it expires. I love this product. The only heartburn for me would the 8.4 fl.oz. packaging. It maybe just me but make sure you have a spare container just in case.

The bottle sure is pretty, but at that price it shouldn’t be cracking easily.
