iWhite (Korea) Aqua Moisturizing Cream Review

iWhite (Korea) Aqua Moisturizing Cream Review

Yesterday PAGASA recorded the coldest temperature in Manila for this season, a freezing 18.8 degrees! Wow! For anyone like me who was born and raised in Manila since God knows when, 18.8 degrees is a history in the making! December to February are the only months where Manileños, including me, can also unearth our knee-length boots and coats from our graves.

With the colder weather this month, I felt that my face was starting to dry up. Been using kojic and glutathione soap for almost a year, but it was just this month (January) when my face started peeling.

I started using iKorea products December and am still using them (facial wash, peel off mask, aqua moisturizing cream) until now except for the facial cream, which I found irritating to my skin.

iWhite (Korea) Aqua Moisturizing Cream ReviewProduct Claim:

A water-based moisturizer refined by Bio-Nanotechnology, making it more potent, giving it a more radiant and fair complexion. It revitalizes and improves skin condition, protects skin against cellular damage and premature aging, maintains elasticity and firmness of the skin and leaves a cool and refreshing feeling. iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream is ideal for all skin types.

The iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream comes in a small sachet with 0.2 fl. oz or 6g of product. I find the aqua blue color around the package cute and unique. Like the other iKorea products, this too had all the information you would like to know about a product, all are labelled at the back of the sachet.

If you want to buy spill-free and for long-term use of this facial cream, iKorea products come in very affordable tubes too. You can check Watson’s and other beauty stores in malls at your area.

Consistency

The iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream has the most unique consistency among the 4 I’d made reviews of. The cream looks like not a cream at all. It’s not thick, it’s light aqua blue in color just like the packaging. Very cute! It’s not sticky, it’s non greasy, and oil-free.

It’s fragrance-free, all 5 products, including the nose pack, have that same distinct scent of iWhite’s.

iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizing Cream ReviewHow did I use it?

I’ve been very consistent in my iWhite reviews that all of the products were used one after the other. With my iWhite routine, I used the facial wash first, and patted my face to dry. And after a couple of minutes I applied the Aqua Moisturizing Cream, prior to the Facial Cream which I only used for 2 days, had to stop it right away because of its adverse effects on my skin. I used this too after peeling off using iWhite’s facial mask.

I put tiny dots of Aqua Moisturizing Cream on my cheeks first, and to the other parts of my face; then, applied the cream in circular strokes until it was evenly applied on my face.

Thumbs Ups:

  • Cheap (Php 18)
  • Sachet can last until 3-5 days depending on use
  • Non-greasy
  • Oil-free
  • Gentle and refreshing on skin
  • No breakouts
  • No allergies
  • Dries on skin faster
  • Available locally
  • Skin feels softer and moisturized right after application

Thumbs Downs:

  • No SPF

Recommendation:

After applying Aqua Moisturizing Cream on, let it dry for a few minutes. Then add a minimum amount of your favourite sun block/sunscreen when going outdoors.

Thoughts about the product:

Our skin needs to be moisturized everyday, both on a hot or a cold day. Moisturizing is important to maintain the right amount of water present in our skin that dries up due to some external and internal factors like, sunlight, cold weather, harsh cosmetic products, hormones, age and many more. Dry skin can cause skin ageing, and I’m sure many will agree that we all do not want to speed up this process.

Consequently, iWhite Aqua Moisturizing Cream will be a great help to us! Aside from leaving the skin moisturized everyday, the price is very considerate to budget-conscious moms like me. Another check for the consistency and zero greasiness of this cream! Believe me, it’s like applying water on your skin. It feels refreshing too! Now I know why they called it Aqua! ☺

Will I repurchase? Definitely, Yes! Recommend? Yes! I love how it has been very gentle to my sensitive skin, leaving it moisturized, soft and glowing. I am not really into moisturizing but thanks to this product for introducing me to my newly found habit.
