Ever Bilena Advance Perfect Eye Concealer Review
It’s been a while since I reviewed a local brand of makeup, I think. Well, here’s one now. I picked up the Ever Bilena Advance Perfect Eye Concealer while browsing through the beauty section of a Robinson’s Department Store, just because. It’s been months since I tried a new concealer, and I liked the shape and size of this—I have a lip balm in the same type of packaging.
There are three shades available for the Ever Bilena Advance Perfect Eye Concealer: C01 Light, C02 Medium, and C03 Dark. The one I have is Light. I normally fall into the medium shade category, but Light is just right for my skin tone. Medium and Dark were a little too dark.
On the label of this, it says ‘smooth formula’, and that’s actually true. It’s a stick concealer that applies smooth and blends easily. It’s neither too hard or dry on the tube, or oily. I don’t know what the ingredients are for this since they’re not indicated on the tube or on the website, but I’d bet this has some ‘cones in it, since it’s got that smooth, slightly waxy feel that products with silicone ingredients in it often have. As long as I put eye cream on my undereyes before applying this, no dryness or fine lines are emphasized. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.
This shade, C01 Light, is a medium beige with peach and yellow undertones, pretty good for brightening the undereye area. I’m happy that it gives no gray or ashy cast on my dark circles or a reverse raccoon eyes effect. I’ve tried layering it on top of a peachy undereye color corrector as using it by itself. I prefer using it alone because it tends to cake when layered on top of a cream color corrector. It doesn’t have such good staying power though. In our hot weather, it fades off after a few hours, and settles into fine lines after a while, though it’s easy to remedy this by dabbing on it with my ring finger.
This is not a full-coverage concealer, I’d say it provides medium coverage, but it does cover up my dark circles some and brightens up my undereye area without looking unnatural. I think this is great for everyday use—it looks natural and it’s not hard to apply at all, just make sure to set it with powder, and bring it along for retouches. The size of it is just right for a purse, it’s about the same size as a tube of lip balm. It’s pretty good for something that only cost PhP 100.
It’s a little less peachy in actual. Photo taken w/ flash, under a lamp.
Ever Bilena Advance Perfect Eye Concealer – What I like:
- It doesn’t irritate the delicate skin around my eyes.
- Not difficult to blend. It applies smoothly and doesn’t pull on the skin.
- Doesn’t leave my dark circles looking ashy, but brightened.
- Gives medium coverage and a natural-looking finish.
- Doesn’t feel sticky or heavy.
- The convenient size of the tube.
- It’s available at most places.
- The cheap price tag.
Ever Bilena Advance Perfect Eye Concealer – What I don’t like:
- It smells a little like lipstick, but the scent is light and fades after a few minutes.
- Fades after a few hours.
Overall:
I’m glad I bought this. I often have this in my purse for touchups, since the size is so convenient. Check it out next time you pass by an Ever Bilena counter.

i’m not usually fond of touching up much less concealer. but i think for most days when you’d rather wear light foundation and powder only, this proves to be ideal and easy on the pocket. great review sis! just ’cause it’s cheap, i might look for this when i come home. i haven’t tried anything from Ever Bilena, truth be told am afraid to but I trust your judgement so I’ll take a leap hehe.
I think this is ideal for students who don’t have just a big budget or those who don’t wear a lot of makeup but still want to at least cover up their dark circles. Minsan tamad talaga ako mag makeup, I just wear sunblock, this or some other concealer, and a tinted balm, hehe. Naku sana hindi ka madisappoint dito, pero anyway, P100 lang naman siya. :)
