Eskinol Papaya Smooth White Facial Deep Cleanser Review
I really like using toners since they remove all traces of dirt and makeup that a facial wash couldn’t remove. I’ve used a lot of toners already but this one that I’ll be reviewing today is a household product in ours. My mom has been using these toners ever since I was young in different variants! I pick this up last month because I want to check if it will keep up its promise.
What’s the promise? Take a look at this photo.
It has micro cleanse properties which could mean that it could penetrate deep seated dirt from our skin. Cool!
I love the drawing in the back of the bottle because it looks like Japanese art. Well that’s the only thing that is Japanese about this product. Basically it is a Filipino product that has been with us for decades. My mom swears by this range of products. I even remember the time wherein there were microbeads on it that would help whiten your skin. I’m not really after the whitening part since I’m using whitening creams already. What I want is clean and moisturized skin.
When I got this I didn’t sniff the scent of it so when I got home I can’t explain the scent. It’s not foul but it’s not good for me. It is “mabango” but I found the scent not my type. Well that’s just me!
I was amazed when I applied on my skin, it didn’t sting at all. It reminds me of my Human Heart Nature Balancing Toner. This too is so mild! I also love that it didn’t stretch out my face that is also common in toners rich in alcohol. This one has alcohol! Also love that it didn’t dry out my cheeks which is basically drier than any part of my face. I think my U-zone is pretty dry while my T-zone is oily. What a skin! Haha! But I love it. :) It’s God’s gift to me. :) I also feel that my face is pretty moisturized that sometimes I skip my moisturizer at night. I know that’s not a good practice but then there are really nights that I wanna lay down in bed right away. Good thing this is quite moisturizing or should I say won’t aggravate the dryness of my skin.
I don’t know but through using toners my pores seems to close and makeup adheres more. That’s why I always use toners to help my primer. This has anti-bacterial properties that could help avoid pimple causing bacteria. It also has castor oil which is known for removing excess oil, it’s an oil often used in the Oil Cleansing Method.
For the whitening part – I guess I won’t put my hopes on this one. Since basically it is just a cleanser. Though it has papaya extracts known for its whitening properties
