ELF Warm Bronzer Review
Albeit the viral spread of whitening soaps and lotions, I’m glad some women still embrace their natural color and even highlight them. Most Filipinas have warm skin tones with yellow or golden undertones that are made even more appealing with the aid of a bronzer. It gives off that sun-kissed glow making you look young and fresh.
There are a lot of bronzers to choose from in the market right now. I definitely tried aplenty, some are a fail and some are a total win. One of that I bought is the ELF (eyeslipsface) Warm Bronzer. The sophisticated packaging got my attention but the mirror inside sealed the deal.

I was curious about the four different shades and how it will blend well together to get that dewy, just-came-from-the-beach look that I wanted for summer. The brand also offers a Cool version to suit those with cool skin tones. In case you are wondering what skin tone you are, one trick is to take a look at the back of your hands under the natural light. If the veins are somewhat green then you have a warm skin tone and a bluish tint means you have a cool skin tone.
Look at how big the mirror is! I use the ELF Warm Bronzer just for the mirror when I forget to bring my pocket mirror with me. I bought this together with the ELF Eyebrow Kit for the same price (Php 225.00) at Ebay. I did not expect it to be big in size but I’m not sure how long the contents will last since I do not use this as everyday. So far, the contents are not showing any signs of crack even though it has made its accidental contact with the floor a couple times or so.
Here’s a photo below with a close-up look at the swatches without flash.
Product Claim of ELF Warm Bronzer:
Create a healthy looking glow all year round! The sheer soft powders provide the perfect hue of color. Blend all 4 colors together to achieve a blend of perfection or choose your favorite color or colors to mix, match and blend. Warm Bronzer- The warm shimmer that will bring a glow to your face. Ideal for summer or year-round.
Pros of ELF Warm Bronzer:
• I like the subtle shimmer. It has a highlighting effect that makes my skin glow especially when I’m out and about doing errands.
• I already mentioned this; I adore the wide mirror!
• Cost effective. Not bad for a reasonably sized product.
• I’m thankful that It does not have that annoying smell like most make-up products have.
• Not too powdery.
• I find the NARS-like compact exterior really cool though it’s not rubber but made only of plastic.
Cons of the ELF.l.f. Warm Bronzer:
• The lasting power is disappointing. It does not last for more than 4 hours on me.
• The pigmentation is also another disappointment. It took me four swipes of my blush brush
to get that color for the swatches (4th photo).
Overall/Recommendation:
The ELF Warm Bronzer can give you that subtle golden glow. Operating word here is “subtle”. I love the smooth texture of it but I don’t use it all the time. I think this will suit ladies with a fairer skin complexion, if you are on the “morena” side better not to purchase this one. My number one bronzer is till the Sally Hansen Corn Silk Bronzer which I will do a review on it next!

It looks pretty in the pan and the swatches look nice and glowy Gessyl.
it does look pretty. it has a subtle shimmer to it that makes you look fresh.
I agree. The colors look very pretty.. If I can only learn how to apply a bronzer…. :)
Its pretty easy once you get used to it. it just like putting on a blush on. I use the bronzer to contour as well.
Now, you’re tempting me to buy and try it out. The price is really not that bad but I’ll probably wait for your Sally Hansen review. :)
awww. pressure! haha i haven’t taken photos of my sally hansen bronzer. thank you for reminding me! :)
