E.L.F Natural Radiance Blush in Flushed

I was walking around Global City last Monday and boy I almost fainted while waiting for the BGC bus. Nobody can deny that the summer season has begun. It is scorching hot outside. When I got to Market Market I immediately checked my face and was amazed that my makeup was still perfect.

Foundation – check, mascara – check, blush – CHECK!!!

I was wearing an E.L.F blush, a drugstore brand but it withstood the heat of the sun and the oiliness of my face.

During this hot season I usually wear only tinted moisturizer, lip balm and cheek tint + peachy pink powder blushes like E.L.F. Natural Radiance Blush in Glow…but since right now I can’t find it I opted for the other shade I have, Flushed.

Anyway here’s my review on the E.L.F Natural Radiance Blush in Flushed. I’ve been using it this week and I’m awed with the praises I get from the people around me. Telling me that I look healthy. I usually look pale without blush.

Product Description

This exquisite, delicate, pigment payoff makes cheeks radiant combined with a healthy-looking glow.  Infused with texturizing agents, skin feels smooth and pores are minimized.

Directions

Gently slide cover backwards over blusher compartment to open.

To Apply: Brush e.l.f. professional blush brush gently over powder, tap excess powder off brush and blend into apples of cheek.

Net weight: 0.07oz (2g)

Packaging

The packaging could be a little tricky for first time users. I myself had a hard time opening it the first time. It comes in a drawer-like container. You just need to slide it. :)

Scent

I didn’t notice any scent but according to the site it has a sugar orange scent.

Color

A plum shade with a hint of shimmer. It is actually very pigmented and the color in the pan is the same color you get when you apply it. It gives me a healthy glow without looking too shimmery. I think this would work on most skin tones.

Tiny silver shimmer

Texture

The texture is a little powdery or chalky but it blends well on my cheeks. Since this is a little chalky it suits my oily skin as powder is great for oily skinned people.

Staying power

The staying power of this shade is fantastic. It lasts for around 4 hours on my cheeks unlike E.L.F.’s Natural Radiance Blush in Glow which only lasts for 2 hours max.

Price
At Php 129, it is very affordable. I think all products of E.L.F. are reasonably priced.

Bought this in Landmark, Trinoma but is widely available in department stores.

E.L.F Natural Radiance Blush in Flushed - What I Don’t Like About It:

• Breaks easily (once you hit the pan it starts to crumble)
• Packaging is also prone to breakage

Will I Repurchase?

Not at the moment. I would like to try the other shades.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for a good, inexpensive blush then I definitely recommend this. It is long-lasting and the color is great!
