Aromanice Bloomfield Vanilla Gold Dust Bath and Body
Another something from my mom. :-) She receives gifts as a form of thanks at work from time to time, and most of them are what you’d generally gift to women—fragrance, makeup, bath and body items. Since she’s not very into those things, anything she doesn’t see herself using (which is most of them!) gets passed on to me.
One of the most recent ones was a set called Aromanice Bloomfield Vanilla Gold Dust Gift Set. I’m totally unfamiliar with the brand, and googling ‘Aromanice Bloomfield’ yielded a handful of links based in Australia, so maybe it’s from there? I dunno, but that’s okay, hey, it’s a gift! The packaging was nice too, the set consisted of five items housed in a usable, faux leather black and white bag with a big black bow. All the bottles and jars black and white color scheme. Pretty.
The Aromanice Bloomfield Vanilla Gold Dust gift set was made up of a body lotion, body scrub, bath salts, cream bath, shower gel, and a body butter. I’m currently using the last three in that list. My sister got the lotion, I haven’t used the scrub yet, and we don’t have a tub so can’t use the salts.
The set is called Vanilla Gold Dust so I was expecting it to be all sweet and vanilla-y, but I was pleasantly surprised that it turned out to smell like peach and what seems to be lychee, combined with vanilla. I think it’s a lovely, soft scent for summer.
I use the Aromanice Bloomfield Vanilla Gold Dust Shower Gel and Cream Bath alternately. At first I had no idea what the difference between the two was. I was thinking maybe the gel is intended for use in the shower and the cream one is to be used in a tub? They both have the same subtle peach+lychee+vanilla scent, neither lather up a whole lot but both leave my skin feeling clean afterwards. Neither are drying to my skin, though I find the Cream one to be slightly more moisturizing.
As for the Aromanice Bloomfield Body Butter, I used it a couple of times but had to stop because instead of being moisturizing, it was drying up my skin big time. My skin ended up drier than usual after applying this. Maybe it has a large amount of mineral oil which is included in the ingredients. A shame because it smells good and I would’ve liked to have the scent on my skin. The consistency of it feels a little waxy, and it’s not greasy or heavy at all. I’m giving it to my sister (who has normal skin).
Aromanice Bloomfield Vanilla Gold Dust Bath and Body – Likes:
- The summery, sweet, scent that smells of peach. I love peach scents.
- The bath items don’t dry up or irritate my skin.
- They shower gel and cream bath left me feeling clean.
- Pretty packaging.
Aromanice Bloomfield Vanilla Gold Dust Bath and Body – Dislikes:
- The body butter is totally drying.
- I couldn’t find much information about this range. I think it’d make a nice gift.
I’m pretty delighted to have received this and given the chance, I would actually gift this set to someone, but perhaps a set with bath items only. Wish I knew where I could purchase it.
