4U2 Flash Nail Art- Bling Review
With my 4U2 purchases last year, I got some freebies! =) One of the free items I got was the 4U2 Flash Nail Art in Bling. Oh, it was not free. It was P1. Hihi.

When I read on the box the word “nail art”, I honestly expected more than nail polishes. Hehe. But yes, the 4U2 Flash Nail Art is a set of three nail polishes which you can use on top of each other or with any other polishes you have to express your creativity. 4U2 has 2 variants for their nail polish set, Bloom consists of pinks and girly nail polish colors. And the Bling set which contains edgy, flashy colors. Bling is what I’ll be reviewing today.

I find the nail polish bottle unique, as its cap is of the same size as that of the bottle itself. The 4U2 Flash Nail Art bottle is thinner but taller compared to a small Bobbie Nail Crème bottle. Although the cap is wider and shorter than other nail polishes, I still find it easy to hold and to glide over my nails. I noticed that the brush is shorter than other nail polishes I have, but is very little bit flatter and wider than Bobbie’s. This kind of brush makes it easy for me to apply polish. I had hard time with longer brushes. I just do what’s on the directions. I swipe on the center and once each side. That is so easy.

1st bottle: Light metallic silver with fine shimmers. It looks glittery but is not gritty.
The nail polish is really opaque on nails. One coat can give nice bold color on nails but I prefer two coats to make it look more polished. I tried them without top coats on and they lasted 4 days on me considering I have hard working hands. I cook a lot, I do everything. Hihihi. 4U2 nail polishes seem not to work well with Bobbie and Sansan clear coats. They work well with my Etude House Top Coat, the transparent blue one. With top coats, the 4U2 Flash Nail Art lasts longer for few days more and is shinier too. I wait 2 to 3 minutes between coats which I find okay too.
2nd bottle: Playful red and a bit Coral-ish too
On the 4U2 Flash Nail Art label:

4U2 Flash Nail Art- Bling – What I Like:
- The color selection is edgy, something new to me but suits my skin tone well, I think. Hehe.
- The consistency is not runny, nor goopy.
- Opaque on nails.
- Last several days.
- Big 3 Free. It has formaldehyde resin and I read in cosmeticsinfo.org that this has been assessed by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel and concluded that Tosylamide/ Formaldehyde Resin are safe as a cosmetic ingredient.
- It is affordable for P214 per set.
- I got mine for P1 only for P800 worth of purchase.
4U2 Flash Nail Art- Bling – What I Don’t Like:
- The strongest smelling nail polish I ever had.
- My 3 year old son can open the bottle no matter how tightly I close them. So easy to open.
Final thoughts:
I have enjoyed doing simple nail arts with these three little bottles. The 4U2 Flash Nail Art Bling Set has actually set my level in nail art a notch higher, from “I-have-not-tried-it-ever” to “novice”. I recommend this set to ladies looking for affordable nail polish set with edgy colors they can play and experiment with.
Always wear beauty,
Val
